PiggyFund is a unique concept in college planning and offers a different and better option for gift registry. With our registry service, a child receives gifts of cash that can be applied towards a savings bond, a 529 plan, a Certificate of Deposit or any other investment tool deemed appropriate by the child's parents. Once you notify friends and family that a child is registered with PiggyFund, guests can log in to the website, find the child's name and choose a gift amount. Unlike many other registry sites, you do not have to pay fees to register. PiggyFund just deducts a nominal fee from the total contribution amount before sending you a payment of all contributions made to your account.
